Integration of household appliances in Busch-free@home® for devices with Home Connect functionality and for devices from the manufacturer Miele.

Integration of home appliances

Networked and compatible home appliances such as washing machines, coffee machines or ovens now appear with their special icons in the Busch-free@home® Next App. This allows full interaction as known from Busch-free@home®: controlling, receiving status, adding to scenes (e.g. all-off switch) and using within the Busch-free@home® action menu.

Thanks to Home Connect, you can integrate networked household appliances from various brands such as Bosch, Siemens, Neff and Gaggenau into your Smart Home System. The household appliances with Home Connect functionality can thus be connected to your Busch-free@home® system via myBUSCH-JAEGER. In addition to ovens, hobs and extractor hoods, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines and dryers, fully automatic coffee machines or vacuum cleaners can also be integrated into your smart home system.

With the integration of Miele household appliances in Busch-free@home®, you have the option of integrating household appliances with Miele@home functionality into your smart home. This allows you to fully exploit the potential of your Miele appliances and make your everyday life even smarter. All intelligent Miele household appliances can be conveniently and securely networked.

Compatibility

The available functions of individual household appliances from the manufacturers Home Connect and Miele may vary in the Busch-free@home® system regardless of the scope of functions. Therefore, ABB cannot guarantee that all functions are provided by the partner for each device. If you have any questions about compatibility, please contact the manufacturer's support.

Full integration

Many networked appliances from Miele and appliances with Home Connect functionality from manufacturers such as Bosch or Siemens can be easily integrated into Busch-free@home®.

Time-saving

You can view the status of your devices via the panel or the app. For example, the washing machine and dryer can immediately send a signal to the panel and the Busch-free@home® app when the process is finished. Practical and time-saving, because it saves having to constantly check the machines in the basement.

Scene control

Your household appliances can be integrated into scenes with Busch-free@home®. For example, you can integrate the ventilation of the extractor hood into the cooking or all-off scenes. All household appliances can even be conveniently controlled via the wall-mounted buttons - exclusively with Busch-free@home®.

Status check

Always these questions! Did I turn off the light in the basement? Did I forget to close the refrigerator door properly? With Busch-free@home® these worries are now a thing of the past, because the Busch-free@home® Next app informs and reminds you immediately about the current status of your devices.

Highest comfort

The start to the day gets better and better, because when the "Good Morning Scene" is activated, the coffee machine turns on by itself - as if by magic.

Geofencing

If no one is at home, the oven must be switched off. With the geofencing function, Busch-free@home® can ensure that the oven is switched off as soon as you leave the house. Reliable and safe, so there's no need to worry.

myBUSCH-JAEGER

Expand your Busch-free@home® system with smart services and benefit from more flexibility and comfort in your home. The Busch-free@home® remote access via myBUSCH-JAEGER allows convenient mobile access to your system while on the move. With Alexa, you can control your home by voice command and with the connection of Home Connect and Miele@Home, household appliances can be easily integrated into the Busch-free@home® system. Registration with myBUSCH-JAEGER is required for this.
