Busch-Welcome® is our 2-wire solution for door communication.
With our door communication system Busch-Welcome® you can communicate with people in front of your door and grant them access without having to open the door yourself. Depending on the type of outdoor station, you can talk to the persons or even see them through an integrated camera on your indoor station.
As the name already indicates - the indoor stations are the counterpart to be installed in the house. And thanks to the associated app, you can also see and hear who is standing in front of your door at any time when you are on the move.

  • Remote access
    Remote access allows convenient mobile access to your Smart Home system. With remote access, you can control your home while on the move.
  • Camera surveillance
    The outdoor stations are available as a video solution. This allows you to see who is standing in front of the door at all times. And if the viewing angle of the camera is not sufficient on site, Busch-Welcome® can be connected to external analogue cameras via a camera interface.
  • Door intercom system
    A door intercom system can be used to communicate with people at the entrance of the building. This requires an outdoor station and an indoor station. There are both pure audio solutions and video solutions.
  • Letterbox integration
    It is possible to integrate the Busch-Welcome® technology into letterbox solutions and pillars. The various installation modules are specially developed for installation and use in letterboxes, bell panels and door side panels.
  • Integration in Busch-free@home®
    The product solutions can be integrated into the Busch-free@home® system.
  • Integration in KNX
    The product solutions can be integrated into the KNX building system technology.
  • Integration into the myRENZbox
    The display of the myRENZbox can be integrated into the Busch-Welcome® outdoor station. The display takes over the function of the (digital) bell buttons. Accordingly, no further physical bell buttons need to be installed on the myRENZbox.
  • Keyless entry
    The modules for access control offer a convenient and secure method for access to the respective building or flat. For this purpose, there is the transponder, keypad and fingerprint module. Settings, such as access authorisations, are possible directly on the module. For example, the door can be opened by entering a PIN code or with the fingerprint.

How does Busch-Welcome® work?

The Busch-Welcome® system is very easy and structured and consists of at least three devices: an outdoor station, a system central unit and an indoor station. The system works consistently as a 2-wire bus system, regardless of whether you plan video or audio communication. With an additional telephone gateway, Busch-Welcome® can be connected to a telephone exchange so that the door calls are forwarded to the telephones connected to it. Call forwarding to other exchange connections or cell phones is also possible.

What can I control with Busch-Welcome®?

With your Busch-Welcome® system you can give your guests a warm welcome. Many different functions are available.

  • Communicating with people at the front door

    With Busch-Welcome® you can communicate with the people at your front door. As soon as someone presses the bell button on your outdoor station, a door call is triggered and your indoor station, smartphone or in-house telephone alerts you to the visitor at your front door with a ring tone. Depending on the type of outdoor station you choose, you can talk to the person or even see them through an integrated camera on your indoor station. If you choose the outdoor video station, you can also take a look at your front door at any time without a doorbell.

  • Opening the front door for guests

    Busch-Welcome® helps you to welcome your guests in the best possible way - and you don't even have to rush to the front door yourself. You can open the door for your guests at any time using your indoor station or via your smartphone by using the app. Thanks to the integrated camera of your outoor video station you can also see who is standing in front of your door. So you can always be on the safe side.

  • Entering without a key

    With our three different access control modules transponder, keypad and fingerprint, we provide you with solutions with which you do not need a key to access your home. Because who doesn't know it, you come home from work, the key is somewhere in your pocket and the search starts... with our modules this problem is a thing of the past.

  • The solution for your letterbox

    With the letterbox integration, you can also integrate the Busch-Welcome® technology into your letterbox or a pillar. Our installation modules have been specially developed for installation and use in letterboxes, bell panels and door side panels. And thanks to the cascadable system, you can integrate up to 99 bells into your letterbox system.

  • Integration into myRENZbox

    The display of the myRENZbox can be easily integrated into Busch-Welcome®. It takes over the function of the (digital) bell buttons. Accordingly, no further physical bell buttons need to be installed on the myRENZbox.

  • See who is at the front door while on the go

    You can also access your Busch-Welcome® system while you are on the go and interact with the person at your door. This is especially handy when you're waiting for a delivery and no one is at home. Thanks to the smartphone app you can still see who's at your door and quickly let the parcel carrier know where he can safely leave your delivery.

How can I control Busch-Welcome®?

With Busch-Welcome® you can communicate with the people at your front door as usual with an indoor station or even more conveniently via the app with your smartphone or tablet - even while you are on the go. To control your Smarter Home at home, our panel offers you a central point. This also applies to the control of your Busch-Welcome® system.

  • Outdoor station

    The outdoor station is the central point in your front entrance. When your visitor presses the doorbell, either the indoor station or the app emits an alert tone. If you have connected your door communication system with your Smarter Home system, corresponding light signals can also alert you to an incoming door call.

  • Indoor station

    The indoor station is the counterpart for communicating with the people at your front door and is available in different versions. If you just want to talk to your guests, we offer you different audio solutions. If you want to know exactly who is at your front door, our video solutions are ideal for you.

  • Access control modules

    So that you don't always need your key to access your home, or so that your neighbors can enter your home temporarily during your summer vacation to water flowers, we have three different access control modules. With the keypad module you can open your front door by code, with the fingerprint module your individual fingerprint becomes your personal door opener and with the transponder module you get access to your home by card.

  • App control

    With the Busch-Welcome® app or the integration of your Welcome system into the Busch-free@home® Next app, you have mobile access to your front door at any time - whether from the sofa or remotely in the office.
    The app is available for both iOS and Android.

  • Smarter Home Panel

    By using a Smarter Home Panel, you have a central point to control your door communication system, but also your entire Smarter Home system. Thanks to the panels, you can centrally control the entire house, individual rooms or the door communication.
