The AZ football stadium in Dutch Alkmaar offers its fans different locations from which they can follow the games.

Since August 2009, the new AZ stadium stands next to federal highway A9 in the south of Alkmaar. The oval-shaped building in the red and black colours of the club offers room for 16,800 visitors who can enjoy the performance of AZ not only from the stands, but also from the "Business rooms", "Lounges", in the restaurants and the so-called "Skyboxes". For the intelligent switching and operation of the extensive lighting, the decision was made for the ABB i-bus® KNX system. The football stadium was planned by the architectural office Zwarts & Jansma of Amsterdam.
