Unique function

The function is clearly evident, irrespective of the operator. Press the rotary knob and dim the light darker or brighter as required. Easy to integrate in existing two-way or intermediate switches. The rotary knob of the classical rotary dimmer can be illuminated in a deactivated state, making it the ideal signpost in dark rooms. For this the potentiometer is equipped with a soft-click notch. For specially sensitive dimming by hand.

Future-oriented. Busch-Dimmer® units for LEDs.

LED lamps are the most modern lamps. They redefine the use of light and use only a fifth of the energy of conventional lamps. However, it has been impossible to dim them until now. In cooperation with Philips - the market leader of LED lamps - Busch-Jaeger has developed high-quality dimmers that perfectly harmonize with these efficient light sources. The modern Philips retrofit LEDs produce the same results as the conventional incandescent lamps. The technology of the LED dimmers is based on transistors. They generate no humming noise and are therefore especially suited for use in hollow walls.

Memory function.

Its intelligence and comfort is such that it offers three interesting functions. Switching on with the brightness used last. With the simple press of a button. Switching on with minimum brightness. With a simple quarter turn to the left and press of a button. Switching on with maximum brightness. With a quarter turn to the right and press of a button. Perfect light control has never been easier and more effective.

Extension unit operation.

Up to five rotary control elements for the control specific lamps can be installed with the Busch-Dimmer® units. This functions perfectly due to the practical rotary dimmer extension unit - and naturally, of course, also with existing two-way and intermediate switching circuits. And the best is: The operation of dimmers and extension units is completely identical. Also the comfortable memory function remains the same for each extension unit.

Retrofitting comfort

With Bush-Jaeger one is always served best. Because even with a conventional light switch with two rockers it is possible to retrofit a dimmer without having to make any structural changes. Two versions are available for this. If you press the dimmer button of a switch dimmer, another consumer (max. 6 A) can be switched, such as a second lamp. With serial dimmers, one lamp can be controlled with each rocker half. A brief press: on and off. A long press: dimming. Long press: Dimming is active.
