The award was given for the excellent brand management in connection with the campaign evolution #smartertogether in the competition category Excellent Brands. The jury praised, among other things, the "visual flexibility and sophisticated aesthetics" in the market leader's communication, saying the appearance elegantly reflected the product world. It went on to say that "the visual language is convincing thanks to its clear and concise focus and appeals to a lifestyle-oriented target group." At the same time, "Busch-Jaeger's high quality standards are impressively conveyed" and the ever-advancing digitalization is taken into account with this brand identity.
The prizes of the German Brand Award 2021 were presented at the first virtual awards ceremony in conjunction with the interactive German Brand Convention. The award winners received a comprehensive winner package for their individual communication. Adalbert Neumann, Chairman of the Board of Management of Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH, a member of the ABB Group, expressed his delight at the prestigious award: "The German Brand Award is proof of the high quality of Busch-Jaeger's communication, which puts the customer in a sympathetic light in connection with our products."
